How much notice do you need for Celebration Cakes?
Though we will always try to accommodate your order, we generally ask for a week's notice for celebration cakes. Some decorations require longer to create, so it's best to order as early as possible.
We also offer a selection of last-minute cakes, available for collection — some in as little as an hour. So it's always worth asking!
How much notice do you need for Wedding Cakes?
We ask for at least one month’s notice for wedding cakes, subject to availability. However, the more notice you can give, the better — this helps avoid disappointment.
That said, if you’re in a pinch, it’s always worth getting in touch. You can also arrange a wedding appointment via our Wedding page to discuss and order your cake.
Do you deliver?
Delivery is optional and available on qualifying orders over £350, subject to availability and charged according to mileage. This service is primarily for wedding cakes.
-
We only deliver to venues or places of business (e.g. hotels or restaurants).
-
We do not deliver to residential addresses.
-
Any outstanding balance must be paid at least one day before delivery.
-
We're happy to set up your cake if the venue is ready. However, we can't be responsible if setup isn't possible due to external issues.
For collections, we have a convenient rear collection point and are always happy to help you load the cake into your vehicle. For directions, see our Directions page.
How do I store my cake?
Keep your cake in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and strong odours.
Do not refrigerate.
How long do your cakes last?
-
Cakes are best consumed within six days of collection, if stored correctly.
-
Cupcakes should be enjoyed within two days.
-
Please follow the care instructions printed on your cake box label.
How tall are the cakes?
Please refer to the following guide:

Can I freeze my cake?
Not recommended for display cakes. Sugar paste and royal icing absorb moisture, so freezing then thawing causes bleeding and smudging of colours.
Once fully thawed, your cake will taste fine, but it may look less appealing. We suggest you enjoy the cake fresh, and freeze leftover portions by wrapping them tightly in cling film.
Do you have any job vacancies?
We rarely have openings. When we do, we advertise them on our website, on Facebook, and on our shop door. Follow us on Facebook to stay updated.
Do you do Vegan cakes?
Not at this time. All of our cakes are vegetarian but not vegan-friendly. We are actively developing a vegan recipe for the future.
Do you do courses/training?
No, we’re unable to offer cake decorating courses — we’re too busy making beautiful cakes!
Are the cakes Halal?
Yes. All of our cakes are vegetarian, and therefore considered Halal-friendly.
Where can I park?
Please refer to the ‘Directions’ page on our website for parking details.
Do you have a bag?
We do not offer carrier bags. All cakes are provided in cake boxes and must be kept flat during transport.
